The shade house will be used primarily to grow first, second and third year seedlings that are small and vulnerable to damage from dessication, heavy rains, and frost heaving.
At the front of the shade house this barn from Better Barns in nearby Bethlehem, will serve as storage for pots, media, and water processing, as well as assuring that the growing area blends into the local New England farming community.
